There's a feature in Livejournal, that if you click on the "Location" that I list in the post, it'll find it on Google Maps. Normally, I'll enter something stupid like, "In my room" or "I'm in the zone" -- google maps won't necessarily help you find that proverbial zone, but you can certainly use it on this post's location

Soccer Tickets

I thought I was a superhero; I was going to save the day. Jon and Yaron and their friends had purchased soccer tickets to see Manchester City FC versus Aston Villa on April 28. Unfortunately, they left for London before receiving their tickets in the mail. The tickets came to our house and after we had a good laugh, I tried to figure out how to get the tickets to Jon & friends before game time. Before leaving for Europe, Jon had hooked up his scanner to my computer. After seeing that each ticket had a bar code, I figured I would scan the tickets and send them to him in an email, which is what I did. Unfortunately, between the time I emailed and MSN Messenger'd him, Jon never once got on the computer to pick up the email or read his MSN messages. I can only hope that he had a receipt to show - if they tried to see the soccer game. The moral of the story? Technology is fantastic...if you use it.

When is this football game for which poppa received the tickets? At then end of your trip when you return to London?

Where are you now? I logged on, hoping to get many an update and no- only posts up till Dublin. Phooey.

Tomorrow (or early Monday morning, if you prefer) I board a plan to Milan. And then a plane to Toronto. Boo. Israel is more interesting.
