My Father's stroke

My Father had a stroke in late August and was rushed to Solihull Hospital. He was declared medically fit and able to discharged back home in early October. The stroke affected the left hand side of his body, paralysing his face and limbs. It took about 2-3 weeks for him to regain full control of the left of his face, he used to keep a constant

Congratulations to your dad! That sort of recovery takes a lot of work on the part of the patient, as well as everyone around them. I saw that in my comparatively brief stay in hospital - one stroke patient who was fighting for every scrap of independent movement no matter how much discomfort was involved, and one who couldn't be bothered to try. Guess which one was recovering?
