A moment, here, to note the passing of one of the best YA authors of our time.  Madeline L'Engle passed away the other day.  Her books were an incredible early influence on the direction of my literary choices - both towards fantasy and towards philosophy.

Rest in peace, Madeline. These books meant a lot to me, to the point that I bought A Wrinkle In Time, A Wind In The Door, and A Swiftly Tilting Planet last year so I would always have them.
