Some protesters arrested at the Democratic National Convention could be jailed in a city- owned warehouse, complete with metal cages and barbed wire, CBS4 News has learned.

I believe those are overflow holding cells for arrested "Recreate 68" types, not "free speach zones".

Lol, I wasn't very clear, agreed, more on the DNC, in regards to the free speech zones, as opposed to the holding cells.

Most long time Denverites are well aware of the Denver police force's long standing problem with, basically, being brutal and lying about it. They have literally gotten away with murder seven or eight times that I'm aware of in the time I've lived here, it always hits the news, and it's always swept under the rug with an "internal police investigation."

At some point there will be a reckoning. They've gotten away with it for so long that I think they have developed the habit of assuming they are untouchable . . . I'm sincerely hoping that if they do get a little overzealously violent at the DNC it will be so intensly documented and and publicized that the city of Denver will have to respond with a long overdue comeuppance.
