I just signed up for PCC's community education summer school beginning french conversation class! I'm so psyched. It's going to be awesome. Sweet! That's what I said to my mom last night - that it would be easy for me to practice because I know you (and Kirsten and Molly) speak French! Plus, we can practice with each other without feeling like fools. Oh, PS: I love your updates about Turkey - I'm glad you're having a good time. I'm so jealous and can't wait to hear more about it when you get back!

Jos, that is so cool! Kudos to you for taking a class. I wish I was in Portland so I could take a Japanese conversation class. That's one of the things we didn't actually focus on much in Japanese at Whitman: conversation. Anyway, go you.

My current fave thing about Portland is the astounding greenery and beautiful parks.

My favorite thing about Portland is that it's not super crowded, but there is still a lot to do.
