If you already know the answer, don't belittle my thoughtSo, i was thinking, that if gravity is a strong enough force to throw boulders down hills and keep tiny little toddlers from floating up and passing though the holes in the atmosphere, how does it prevent itself from crushing little ants and even ourselves ( Read more... )

if you were on venus, you would be smushed into the ground. not because of more gravity but because the atmosphere is denser. our atmosphere is just less dense, that's what keeps us from being smush.
