I've come to the conclusion (quite quickly) that my entries are going to wind up being extremely sporadic.  Despite the fact that I wish to enter things in some sort of fashion where an average, or maybe even mildly-sane person can understand them, I seem to not have the time to keep things in order.  It doesn't help that I randomly hand write

It is a bit unsetteling to realize how much different "normal" is for different people. It is also unsettleing to think about what that means for our concept of what we should expect in this life. I know one guy who turned away from God because his brother died in a car accident and he thinks that it just wasn't fair for God to allow that to happen. I know someone else who turned toward God because he felt that God protected him when his entire family was killed for nothing and he says that God's protection was a gift rather than expected. I don't know if I really had a point to make, except that I understand where you are coming from.
