So I know I never really say anything meaningful in the LJ particularly because I dont' feel it necessary, or I dont' want to offend anyone publicly, but I have a few things on my mind that I would like everyone to have on theirs too ( Read more... )

very well said cera c. its nice to know that a women can speak her mind and be blunt about it. very few actually have the courage to speak their mind on issues that bother them. i agree 100% with your opinion

i bit abour when a man stops making the comments about a grl when he finds that a friend of his is dating that gril i dont think that he stops because she is claimed by a fellow man. i think that the randomness is gone from that gril she is now dudes gril frend not some gril. i think the comments may also stop if they were some friend sister or daughter. the key is the randomness although that is know exuses by any mean

although i do think that if had writen a simmlar to yours entry in my lj that it would stronger because i am man and when any ever attact there own group it seems to have more streath to it is why i realy liked the last pararpgh

the thing is, all girls are someones friend, sister, or daughter. but i agree it's easy to be that way to a random person, but I still think it's wrong.
Yes I also agree with you that if a man said what I said it would be taken more seriously because it is about them. I know of boys that don't appreciate that kind of stuff, but don't say anything because they don't know any better, just because they are around it their whole lives. So in response to that, I'm just trying to let them know how much it really does mean to women and that their every little effort helps. It takes both sides to have mutual respect and equality. This isn't me being a man-hater, because if I was, I wouldn't be requesting help from them to take a few closer steps towards equality.

p/s I love you tamir
