I've been listening to the two Broken Social Scene Presents albums... and they just sound like broken social scene albums... the reason why is because the two guys who did them are the main guys in BSS, the founders as it were. they are just the only two guys in the band who weren't already indie famous in their own right ( Read more... )

I quit my role as Creative Director of the communikey festival for the next year. I have realized in recent weeks that it has basically ruined my life, driven me crazy and damaged my friendships for me to be working on the festival in that capacity. that being said i wouldn't trade it for the world, and will still be lending a hand on the process ( Read more... )

i have never thought that people think about me in the same terms that i think about them. this is because i have always figured you can't know what a person thinks, so i just shouldn't apply thoughts to other people. and as a result have defaulted to thinking that other people don't think anything at all.

Questionable Content is one of my least favorite comics, but i can't stop reading it because it is the only soap opera that i can relate to. today's pretty much describes about 75% of the interactions I have ever had with my friends.
