I work tommorow night until 9 or else I'd be camping out for the opening showing of Rent at noon here in Wpg...but I'm heading to the theatre as soon as I'm off, seeing the 10:30 show. Who needs sleep, it's RENT!! I drive my wife nuts, everytime the commercial comes on I'm like "shut up, it's Rent!" I'm so freakishly obsessed with this musical, in ( Read more... )

Hey Josh!
My partner and I are RENT crazy too! I haven't seen the musical yet, but love the music and I play it in my car all the time and sing mini musicals lol. We're planning to see the movie too."one song, glory" is a favorite of mine ;) I think it gets at all humanity, not just those that are directly in that lifestyle..but that's my deep thought for the day.
Actually, i thought Rent was based on "La Boheme"..the song "one song, glory" has the music from La Boheme, But i could be wrong..
Here's hoping you never go to prison..LOL.

Jilly, you are so right. It WAS La Boheme, for some reason I typed Carmen, the only other opera I know the name of.
