I've always found it funny that people live in Los Angeles. I guess I think of it in much the same way I think of D.C. - a trading posts of sorts, a place to hitch your horse for a while before you move on to the next place. I've spent a lot of time here, no doubt, it comes with the trade, but there's nothing about this place that feels like it ( Read more... )

Los Angeles could never be home to me either. It's just not...got that feel, you know? I don't mind the city as much as I used to, however. Similar to your case, it's because of the people.

If I got a solid gig in Vancouver I don't think I'd ever want to leave, certainly not for the likes of Los Angeles. I don't know, it kind of feels like the smog that covers the city here gets into everything else.

It's amazing how much the people can make a place tolerable.
