They also mourn who don't wear black.

I know there is a role to play. I know there is a story to be told. I don't want to be the main character anymore. There is too much pressure. I would be content in a suporting role, but I desire the spotlight. I desire recognition. I feel so awkward being the center of attention. It doesn't feel natural to me. Sometimes I want to warn people of ( Read more... )

That blanket analogy was beautiful. I plan on stealing it.

And yes, hail to the king.

Hang out party will happen soon. Still trying to figure that one out.

your second paragraph's first couple of sentences reminded me of the movie "sky high" lol. (which, in my personal opinion, is a really great movie)

that was the first time i heard the tide play in real life on friday night and i told anth that we should get them to play at our wedding for us... because i loved them so much! lol - now i just gotta get the kid to engage me! hahaha

aaaaaaaanyways... i don't know what this entry was about, but either way.. i hope you feel better or something and that the Lord clears everything up for you :0)

I really enjoyed writing it. I didn't end up writing about anything that I was planning on writing. The spirit was just moving through me. I think things will be getting better. Wait, I know they'll get better. 1 Peter 5:10 totally changed my thinking last night. I'm just at a point of unsatisfaction within my life.

We all want to be the star. No one remembers the Best Supporting Actor, only the Best Actor. I'm guilty of the same thing, forgetting that I'm more valuable in a supporting role right now. By the way, would you do me a favor and read my latest LJ entry (January 23)? I'm interested in what you have to say about the whole issue, Josh.

I think we as christians are suppossed to be aware of the fact that we are supporting characters in the "larger" story.

I'll be sure to reread your post.

Joshua.

I'm not really sure about this post, because I'm no good at looking deep into something dealing with superheros. I just don't have the art.

I love you Josh.
I hope whatever it is, if it's dealing with me, you can tell me so that I can work on being the best person I can be for you.
Thats all I really want.

PS.
There's nothing wrong with sidekicks... I always thought robin was hotter.

Robin was hotter wasn't he? I just haven't been real satisfied with my life lately. I'm definitely going through some sort of transformational period in my life. Ugh, it's such torment.

I went through some verses I wrote down a while ago to see what they were about, because I had forgotten. I got through only three of them when I read 1 Peter 5:10, and it made me stop dead in my tracks. It was the first time in a long time that God has spoken directly to me, through the bible. It is my current anthem. You should check it out. We should start memerizing scripture like we talked about doing a long time ago. I'm going to start with that one.

Hope your day is wonderful.

Batman is underrated. He figured out a way to take down the whole Justice League. Jason and i have had the whole Batman vs Superman argument a least a thousand times. there still isnt a clear winner. haha. yes. im a geek. im not ashamed.

Raise up that geek banner with pride.
I wouldn't advise Batman in riding any horses. Think about that one for a bit.........

But I will give credit where credit is due. He definately can make the most of what lack of superpowers he has.
