Pumpkinhead had its moments. Some scenes with the monster freaked me out the first time I saw it. And last time I saw it. Which was probably junior high.

I liked how simple the story was...And I liked the twist at the end. And some of the monster scenes were pretty nightmarish, with the lighting and stormy scariness of the woods and all. I think from this that Winston could have grown to be a really good director if he'd kept at it...But apparently the only other feature film he made was A Gnome Named Norm (which, dang it, I must have just plum missed...Maybe Jack would like it though).
