Harriet Miers is withdrawing her bid for the Supreme Court. This is hopefully a good development for a solidly conservative Supreme Court made up of qualified and intelligent judges

yeah, she's gotten way too much crap. although i agree with both the dems and republicans that she probably wasn't the most qualified to be a supreme ct justice.

I call cronyism, but only after I laugh at Harriet Miers's nomination for being such a miserable failure. Yeah, I said it, and yeah, she said Bush was a "cool" governor.

i think sandra needs to stick it out to fuck with the right wing, but alas i forget she is really really old and has done enough sticking it out
