I liked seeing the awkwardness at the start on day 1.
Plus, I hope Mercedes figures it out for some reason.

I'm thinking of adding some scenes later on that may raise the rating to NC-17
OMGYES! I mean, whatever, that would totally be fine, I guess. Whatever.
OK, seriously, now. This was a phenomenal update! I loved it. I'm so glad you didn't shy away from the awkward first day, how-do-we-do-this-stuff, and you wrote it very, very well. I felt awkward and uncomfortable, but in a good way, like I wasn't sure how to do this, either.
Rachel smiled, remembering what happened with Will. After admitting how they truly felt, they spent the rest of Saturday curled up together on the couch just watching movies and talking ( ... )

Heartbreaking, that they had to go through the entire period without discussing this. You could really feel the resignation in Rachel's voice here, like she was so used to wanting things she couldn't keep, or having to sacrifice so much for them. Seriously, heartbreaking.
Will talking it out with her was perfect--I'm glad they're both invested enough to not just let this fall apart immediately, that at least one will fight a little, so far. (I know this might change, of course, so I'll try to keep my hopes low.)
The whole scene of Rachel listening to Finn and Will was great, especially jealous! Will, which is never ever a bad thing!
She noticed him stiffen slightly, but gave her a tight smile, “I know, but I couldn’t help myself.”Also never a bad thing? Hopelessromantic! Will that can't keep his hands off of Rachel. Love it ( ... )

Haha. I'm thinking some NC-17 scenes are definitely going to sneak their way in there; I just wanted to make sure nobody out there objected. But nobody has, so I'll go with the muse and see what happens.

I didn't want everything to fall perfectly in to place, but I didn't want it to be too much. So, I'm glad to hear this. Although the awkwardness could really just be the writing. It feels very awkward to me. haha.
This was such a visual moment for me, right off the bat. I could picture this, glee "buda bum" music ( ... )

Definitely not. Great chapter, seriously.

Nah, it was the situation. I felt very connected to these two; your writing is NOT awkward.
as much as Rachel goes for what she wants, she shies away from getting hurt too (although she keeps going back to Finn and I will never understand that). But I think when it comes down to it, she may try to run at the first sign of trouble before she gets too emotionally invested.Agreed, completely. As much as I hate Finchel, I think it makes sense (to an extent); I feel like Suzy Pepper's words to Rachel in Ballad apply to her life as a whole--she's emotionally sabotaging herself, and she knows, deep down, that she and Finn are NOT endgame (I hate Finchel shippers saying that SO DAMN MUCH). Rachel doesn't feel worthy of love ( ( ... )
