France was too much to come back from. At the end it was like I wanted to live there. This was the icing on the cake: On the plane back, my neighbor was the general manager of the North American division of a French telecom company. France also has insanely good yogurt. I hate it that everyone smokes, everywhere and all the time, because it's a habit that I just cannot find remotely tolerable, no matter how hard I try. But they definitely have a better quality of life over there, and they've got their shit a bit more figured out. I want to marry a scottish rugby player and live in france or spain. Last night was the first time I felt very overwhelmingly homesick since being down here. Homesick for my family, whom I grew to appreciate so much more during the months I spent with them in the winte, my friends, who are literally sprinkled all over the planet and will never be with me in the same place at the same time, and all the worlds I´ve successfully built for myself, but abandoned the moment they became comfortable. Some people were playing music last night (guitar, drum, harmonica), and I wanted so desperately to tell them Hey! I want to make music too! But I couldn´t because I´m illiterate in all the instruments I have at my disposal here and I won´t get to touch a piano until August and I can´t even sing the songs they´re singing because I don´t know the language ( ... )

I think Rae can sing in any language she wants.
I think that goes for every thing Rae wants to do.
