Strong launch, but suffering from the same problem the DS did: not much to get excited about post-launch as few games have been announced. I expect the Wii to get it's second wind fall of next year and that's when it will really take off.

I think this should be appended to say 'few third-party games have been annoucned', seeing as Nintendo is really putting their weight behind the Wii. I don't think the other developers know how to grasp it yet. Though, now with this successful launch, hopefully we'll start seeing shooters and swordfighting games and puzzle games and maybe... maybe even the return of the cop shooter genre? I could suffer a Virtua Cop clone fo' sho'.
