Maybe this is just because I'm older. Maybe it's because so many things still remind me of you.

For the first time, I'm saying "I'm sorry", and I truly understand. I never realized how much I meant to you. How much I took you for granted. Maybe it's because I was young. Or maybe just because I was stupid.

I'm sorry. You deserved so much better.

Even though we will never speak to each other for the rest of our lives, please know I'm truly sorry. I think I can be okay with that knowing that you finally heard it.
