All too often, I hear that, "this is the path before you, and you must walk it." I was taught to walk the path, and do the best I can until it's time to stop. I believe in walking the path before me, not because of what I was taught, but because of my spirit.
I'm proud that you were able to choose. I know many that would simply balk at the crossroad, letting time alter their course. Either way, either choice, I would support you. Letting go is not the choice for myself, but that doesn't mean it can't be the choice for others. For some, it has to be that way.
No matter what happens, even from this distance, I wish only the best for you, my friend. Do your best, and someday, we'll laugh together once again. I miss you man.
