Picking up the camera, yo!

I went with Dad to buy my DSLR on Saturday. Exciting stuff! We just strolled right in there and asked them to flop one on the counter. Like it was no big deal.

Oh, hi. Yeah, we want one of these. 350 quid, you say? Sure thing.Then they asked us if we wanted to buy any memory cards or camera cases or anything else from them. I told them politely

Yay! I ordered my dslr and the stuff for it from different places so I had to wait a couple of days. It did take the same memory card as my point & shoot, but I didn't get the kit lens, so it was completely unusable. I thought the wait was kind of painful, though. It was like the prettiest shiniest $600 paperweight ever. *sigh*

Hey, paper is important. If my paper's weighed down with anything worth less than $600, then I'm not a happy chappy.
