i was explaining my logic to Dave on the phone a minute ago. i wanted to go opening night, but i had to work until 10:30, so i had to choose between the tavern and the Rave. well, i knew the movie was going to be long, and the show times were 10:45 (rave) and midnight at the Tavern. so i decided to go to the earlier show and also i could avoid having to go piss the beer out (i'm old and can't hold 38 ounces of beer for nearly 2 1/2 hours like i used to) and i'll go see it at the tavern later, now that i'm not missing anything since i've already seen it. weird that i'm applying so much logic to going to see a movie, huh?

Plus, if you'd gone to the Tavern you never would have bumped into me! And then I wouldn't have gone to see the movie with you! Now you're really wishing you'd gone to the Tavern, aren't you?

Friday night was my first movie tavern experience and I say yay!

Who would have thought that being drunk would make it tolerable to watch a movie from the front row?

I never put the two together. Because at first I couldn't tell what was going on. Then after 3/4s of my beer, I could see perfectly.
