4 questions

OK so this was started by Dr O'Conner. Everyone who reads this is supposed to ask me 4 questions. Any 4, no matter how personal, dirty, private, or random. I have to answer them honestly and in turn, you have to post this message in your own journal, and you have to answer the questions that are asked of you.

OMG!! The little horned star ( Read more... )

1. What's your favourite kind of car? (That you remember from home, of course, ignoring the fact that since we've been gone some more have probably been invented, but let's not think about such painful things)
2.Who would you rather hang out with for a day - Doctor Gallagher, or Doctor O'Connor?
3. Who do you think is the funnest, most excitable person on Altantis?
4. Who do you think is the nuttiest person on Atlantis?

1. Hmmm favourite car......hmmm. I like the old cars, with the running boards and tail fins. My brother-in-law once fixed one up adn it was a beauty.
2. Ohhh that's too tough. I can't choose between two strong beautiful women. Could I have a day with each of them.
3. Well Mepp is certainly excitable, but I don't think he counts as a person. Dr O'Conner can be fairly excitable.... in a good way of course. MCKay might take the prize though. I'd laugh at him, but he's capable of blowing me up and I'm told he once laced someones hot chocolate with laxatives, so I try not to.
4. Have you seen how Kavanagh looks at Ellie? Now that's nutty! I mean she once tried to shoot him!

Oh, come now. None of us can admit that we've never dreamt of doing such a thing to Kavanagh.

...seriously, though? He looks at her ... like that?

It may be unfounded gossip, but it looks that way to me. Creepy isn't it. :D

1. When was the last time you danced?
2. What kind of dance was it?
3. What kind of instrument can you play, if any?
4. Do you have a girlfriend back on Earth?

...oh, and I feel the need to point out that the last question is totally innocent and out of curiousity.

1. I assume that's other than when that singing and dancing nug thing infected the city, because I danced alot then. My feet hurt for days. Other than that, I used to salsa back home. NY On2 Style. It was considered really trendy and well there were lots of lovely girls to dance with.
2. answered above
3. Um, I play a little piano, but 'play' may be too strong a word.
4. Nup. Well not at the time I shipped out anyway. Are you sure you're just curious?

Oh yes, I should have taken that into account when I asked. Do forgive my ignorance, but NY On2 style ...?

Piano is a lovely instrument - and don't be modest. Even if you didn't exactly play much, just say you did. Works better ;)

Am I that transparent?

You've never danced Salsa. Well you're missing out.
OK well to answer your question, On1 or LA style is considered the normal salsa style and is most prevalent. You emphasis the 1 and 5 beats...hence On1. NY (New York) On2 style, also referred to as mambo is salsa where you emphasise the 2 and 6 beats. Its all kinda technical, but On2 looks nicer, because the girls can do more spins. Also many people, like me, think it just feels better to dance On2.
I actually started dancing when I was dating this girl in nursing college. She had to drag me kicking and screaming there, but I ended up loving it and kept it up. I even did performance classes at one point, while I was between work. I miss it on Atlantis.
Hey, here's a thought....want to learn? I may be coy about my piano playing abilities, but not when it comes to salsa. I'm a very good lead and I brought some salsa tunes with me among my other MP3 files. Ever heard African Salsa? Its the best!

Oh and no, you weren't ransparent, but now you are. Dance with me?

1. Trains are pretty cool. Especially the old steam trains. I once got to go up front with the engineer and pull on the whistle when I was a kid and I loved it. :D
2. warm, maybe 20C and a light breeze. Early summer I guess. Not too hot and not too cold. Its perfect exploring weather.
3. Snoopy, he's all energetic like me. How can anyone just sit like that?
4. The song that never ends.....you know the one?
*Singing* "This is the song that never ends. It just goes on and on my friend. Some people started siinging it not knowing what it was and they'll continue singing it forever just because....it is the song that never ends............."
Bah now its stuck in my head!!!!

Plus they have a better TV show. Budgie the helicopter had nothing on Thomas the Tank Engine. And as for Brum? Pfft. The fat controller could take him in a fight any day.

I don't think I could stand it being gorgeous weather all the time, though. Thunderstorms are so much more interesting.

Garfield is an example to procrastinators everywhere! But I agree, Snoopy had way cooler adventures, fighting the Red Baron and stuff.

You know, if I'm going to have that song in my head all day because of that, I think it's fair that everybody else has it stuck in their heads, too. What d'you say to a musical stroll through the control room?

"Sounds like a plan."
