As I read about gifted overexcitabilites all over the place, several thoughts echo through my head... and I'm thrilled to see some of the same echos here. I wish folks would read more about Dabrowski's work before they cite OEs, as means of identifying the gifted, as means of justifying socially unacceptable behaviour, and more.

Now, how do we get them all to read this, and better still, follow the links and read the research themselves?

One way to increase readership of this is to put it 2nd or 3rd rather than at the bottom. Indeed, if I were going to reorder the top, I might put "Understanding Overexcitabilities: The Basics by Gift-Ed Connections" second, under Cait's and then mine. That would give the best shot of Dabrowskian substance to the readership.
