looking in the mirror sucks sometimes. where you look in the mirror what do you see? do you treat you self better or worse than you friends? do you see strength to be respected or weakness to be used? do you deserve to be treated the same way you treat you family, friends and those around you?

being honest with yourself can be the most joyful

I've found I'm much too judgemental of myself and forgiving of others. I've been criticized my whole life from never being good enough for my parents to being in abusive relationships. I know even years after my last abusive relationship I have a warped concept of self. So I try not to be too hard on myself.
