Last night, I attended a talk by Nicolas Kristof, an editorialist for the NYTimes, regarding the ongoing genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan.

I've been watching news of the refuges for a while...even sending money periodically, but I guess I sort of felt helpless about fixing the root problem. Thanks for the wake-up call.
