A friend of a friend has started an online fair trade fashion venture with folks in Cape Town, South Africa called Zebra Crossings. Their first product they're calling "Africa my bra" and they are beautiful beaded bra straps for those times when you would otherwise just go strapless. Instead, the idea is, you show it off! And guys, before you gloss

Oh, very cool! Once I have some disposable income again, I'll definitely check them out. As someone who can't really go strapless, I think the beaded bra strap is a great idea. :-)

I've seen it on someone and it looks sooo lovely on the shoulder. I'm all for non-traditional forms of jewelry.

But yeah, I totally hear you on the disposable income thing.

Hrm...going strapless when you are me-shaped is an interesting affair, usually involving corsetry, duct tape, and the violation of several laws of physics.

How did we manage to totally miss each other this summer?
