Since I'm probably the only hardcore basketball fan here, I'll post a response. UNC's team is talented but very very young this year, and if they put it all together it could be a good game. If they're not firing on all cylinders, though, Duke very well could blow them out.
As for the magnitude of the event: Duke-UNC is one of those rivalries that's among the hottest in sports. Think Yanks-Sox, Auburn-Alabama or Michigan-Ohio State. In a rivalry like this, often whole seasons are judged upon: did you beat Duke/UNC/insert rival here? And the Duke-UNC games over the last ten years or so back up the fans' fervor--they've more often than not been really tight contests that are either won at the buzzer or in overtime. So yeah, it's absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the Dean Dome will be rocking.
Yeah, you are very likely the only one who made it through the post. Despite not being one of them hardcore fans, I really am excited. You'll be watching, yeah? I'll be in baby blue, I'm sure you will have noooo trouble spotting me ;)
