Just in case anyone missed it, The New York Times (Sunday) came out with a fantastic piece officially endorsing John Kerry.

The lesser known Lone Star Iconoclast, Bush's hometown paper, has done the same thing.

Edit: The "only slightly lesser known" Lone Star Iconoclast.

right. I tend to go for subtlety, but sometimes it is more effective to just drive your point home. Especially if it has had too much to drink.

I am confused.

The Iconoclast's piece claims that their paper endorsed Bush in 2000, but then their "about the Lone Star Iconoclast" page says they "Began publication in December 2000".

Umm...

wasn't Bush elected in November 2000?

Good point. I emailed the Iconoclast, here is their response: 'The article noted that the "publishers" endorsed Bush in 2000, but it was in
a neighboring newspaper.'
