Ok, so: people who are good at computers. If I can get my Mac online via wireless (so I know my connection is working), and I can connect my PC laptop to the router with an ethernet cable and have it showing up as a working connection, then why would I not be able to get to any webpages with the PC? I have actually just the second fixed it by remembering that my PC is all set up to use the internet at my dad's house which requires me manually setting the IP address. In MY house, IP addresses can be given out by the router and AUTOMAGICALLY it all works! Hurrah! I knew as soon as I asked the universe I would figure it out.
