Not enough fiber in my life....

I recently sat down with my spinning wheel and actually learned how to use it. I could spin with a drop spindle, but spinning on a wheel is like patting your tummy and rubbing your head. It takes a bit to figure out how. A few weeks later and I have spun all the fiber in my house. The best store to purchase fiber closes at 5:00pm. I'll go

Nice! So where's your favorite fiber store?

I got the corriedale and merino/bamboo from The Woolpack in Acton. Tomorrow I'm making a trip to The Fiber Loft in Harvard. The goal is to spin enough yarn to knit a sweater. I don't plan to spin for spinning sake... I'm an odd knitter in that the goal for me it to produce finished objects, not acquire more yarn than I can knit in a lifetime :)

If you're ever in my neck of the woods, there's a nice yarn and fiber store in the same building as my frame shop. The folks who run it also own an alpaca farm.
