A short review first because I have too many feelings about this book and the Wicked series as a whole.  So many feelings.

I really need to re-read the first two books then go about reading Out of Oz. But I still miss Elphaba....

There's a few pages at the beginning of the book that summarize the series pretty neatly so you don't have to re-read them to understand this one. This book is the most like Wicked compared to the others, so you may like it better than the middle books.
