I can't italicize enough through my cell exactly how badly this system pisses me off. I'm over in the contractor realm and it's still entirely accepted. That's 'just the way it works'. I'll still take it over most large company mistrust and free for all back stabbing that rocks the private sector, but fuck. It's entirely unfair and full of shit. And it's most of the goddamn military. I mean. I've accepted that I'm not going to be a GS or rock my way to the top because I just have too much pride and work ethic to fuck around and suck up or sleep my way through the social ladder. But god. Just think about this on the large scale. People in positions of authority who are just show boaters and can't run a damn go cart. It's depressing. It's a pile of crap. They do next to nothing, wasting budget to make sure they keep their overheads. Ugh
