Oddly creepy, given that it doesn't have ghosts dragging chains and suchlike. Is the alien some kind of psychotherapist?

Kind of, it gets into your mind (not in a bad way) and if you have any guilt or anything like that. It will show you the subject of guilt etc, in your subconsicous allowing you to forgive yourself in the process.

I seriously hope that makes sense??

It makes perfect sense. I'm sure an alien with those abilities could get a very good living as a psychotherapist - allowing someone to say a last goodbye to mom, or tell their deadbeat of a dad that they forgive him, or whatever is bugging them, would be much more effective than lying on a couch talking about it.

Ah that's okay then! Sometimes I ramble and it all makes sense in my mind but doesn't make a shred of sense on paper! But yes that was what I was aiming for. Glad you liked this though :D
