proper life things

I'm taking this philosophy class this quarter that's really fascinating, even though the professor is a terrible lecturer and probably the most stereotypical modern philosopher ever (soft, doughboy appearance, subscribes to the New Yorker and belongs to a Bacchanalia club, etc etc lmao forever).

philosophy and life blah blah )

awhile, turnstile

When would you go for your internship? If you go to Seattle can I visit you? D: I've always wanted to go, I don't know why but it seems like a cool place *__*

Also about staying in the Midwest, because I've always wanted to travel, I actually feel a certain way when I meet people who want to spend the rest of their days staying in the same place they grew up. Whether it's NYC, London, or podunk, Nebraska. There's the whole world out there to see, you know?

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Even if you grew up in some huge glamorous city, it's still good to get other perspectives. I guess I can't understand people who just want to stay in one place forever ahhh it's baffling D: whatever floats their boat, I guess...

And yes! If I get a job in Seattle feel free to visit haha, though I'm not sure I will since that employer might not be taking anyone (fingers crossed)...

Bacchanalia's a holiday celebrating the Roman god of wine. In my professor's case it's a wine club, I imagine. Or could be a drunken hedonist orgy club. Both equally likely, I suppose...
