Tatsuya! I told you not to be late today!“ Ryo scolded as Tatsuya opened their shred apartment's door. He had apparently been hurrying home, because his breath came out of his mouth in short puffs.
“I'm really sorry, but it wasn't my fault! Kame made us do some extra dancing lessons for the tour! I told him I had to go, but you know how Kame is!” Tatsuya pouted as always when Ryo scolded him.
“Yeah I know. Stupid turtle guy!” Ryo growled and rolled his eyes. “Well, now hurry and change your clothes already! You know that we still need to buy a present!”
Tatsuya nodded.
“Right, we can't visit Ci-chan for her birthday without a present.”
“And we are already late...I'm gonna kill Kamenashi!” Ryo seemed to be close to going crazy. Tatsuya hurried to the shower and quickly changed into more appropriate clothes than his usual jeans and t-shirt combination.
“Alright Ryo, I'm ready! Let's go!”
Tatsuya and Ryo ran to the car and even made it to leaving without arguing for hours who should drive. Suddenly Tatsuya heard Ryo squealing on the passenger's seat.
“There!!! A flower shop!” he pointed out of the window excitedly. “We can buy her flowers!”
“Ryo...that's not really creative to give her flowers!” Tatsuya said. “I mean since it's Ci-chan, shouldn't we look for something more special?”
Ryo didn't like that fact that Tatsuya wasn't excited about his idea as much as himself.
“But we could give her both!” he pouted. “Flowers and another present!”
“Alright.” Tatsuya sighed. “But you stay here in the car while I buy them. We need to hurry and I know how long it takes until you decide for something!” he parked the car quickly and left dumbfounded Ryo there.
After a few minutes he returned with a big bouquet of pink and white flowers.
“Why pink?” Ryo, who had finally found back his language asked.
“Because it's cute!” Tatsuya exclaimed. “Cute flowers for a cute girl!”
Ryo looked at his watch.
“But we are super late already!” he cried out!
The couple looked at each other.
“Okay.” Tatsuya said. “Then skip the other present and let's hope she's fine with this. He chuckled.
“I bet she's gonna say that this is typical for us!”
Ryo looked at him and they both laughed.
After Tatsuya had driven them to Ci-chan's apartment they ran up the stairs and rang the doorbell.
“Tell her that it's your fault we're late!” Ryo said and nudged his elbow into Tatsuya's side.
“It's not my fault!” Tatsuya cried.
“You were late! Who else should be blameworthy?” Ryo asked.
“It was Kame's fault!” Tatsuya sulked.
In this moment Ci-chan opened the door.
“It's all Kame's fault!!!” Ryoda exclaimed in unison.
