i'm so happy to be getting out of this neighborhood. apparently there have been several home break-ins this week. my neighbor across the street got robbed WHILE SHE WAS HOME. the dudes came into her garage and stole a bunch of shit and messed her car up. the guy across from her on the other side got his plasma tv and a bunch of other stuff ( Read more... )

Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome. I always love hearing when people go vegan. I've been vegetarian now for 4 years. I tried a vegan diet for a couple months back when I first went veggie and I lost about 25lbs, it's such a great way to live if you can meet your nurtritional needs. I would like to be vegan again but it's so expensive and it's really hard when you are surrounded by complete carnivores so being vegetarian is battle enough lol.

thanks! i really disagree with your statement that it's expensive to eat vegan, though. my grocery bills have gone down by about $30 a WEEK since switching. try to find a health food store that sells bulk dry goods, i find that helps. i live with a carnivore and we coexist rather peacefully.

get a gun. that may not be your thing, but I would. You have every right to protect yourself/your property, and I don't know how many gremlins are going to be terrified of mace. but it helps ;)

also, yessss! congrats! :) for the first time in my whole life I can say I don't feel guilty after a meal... my diet has really put a fresh perspective on things. you'll definitely keep losing some weight... I dropped 20 pounds just by changing up my dietary preference. six months later my weight has finally plateaued at a comfortable place.

AND BTW WHAT THE FUCK IT IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE TO READ THE TEXT THAT I AM TYPING RIGHT NOW

a gun is certainly a possibility. in texas, it's legal to shoot and kill someone intruding on your property. it's called the castle doctrine. one of jason's friends was actually killed that way. he was on that stop smoking drug chantix and was drinking on it (which you aren't supposed to do), and he got disoriented and thought he was going to his girlfriend's house but it was the house next to it. he knocked on the door a whole bunch and the guy inside the house freaked out and fired a warning shot at the top of the door. unfortunately, j's friend was 6'5" and the bullet caught him in the head. ugh ( ... )

really though, in the right hands, a bat could do more damage than any gun. ;)

I'm really glad to hear that things are looking up, though. I feel like if most ED treatment places threw the option of a proper vegan diet, people would just feel so much better about themselves.
