I can't imagine why they won't! I think I'd get bored with the green after a while, because although it's nice, I know that my long-term love is blue. But if you want something a little different, and you think you can love it for four years (I probably could if forced), I'd say go for the green.
I'll likely wear it under my clothes only with a dress or with a skirt that involves a long top.
The CDE teaching class yesterday was wearing it on her skirt, and I didn't notice until she pulled her top up to show us (we were all women in the class) where it was.
Mine is blue. Goes with everything. Not that I'd notice if it clashed with everything, having negative fashion sense. I wear it on my waistband next to my pager. Even in a hospital where people know better, most people think it IS my pager.
I'm actually not that worried about clashing... I don't think. It's more of an "oooh! shiny! green" vs. "I'm almost 30. Am I getting too old for 'oooh! shiny! green!' and what will I be like in four ears."
Never mind that the tubing for the Animas Inset comes in colors. But at least I can rotate those colors.
I liked the paradigm and the cozmo more or less equally for the really important features. What tipped me to the medtronic was the colour choices (deltec came in black, black and black if I recall correctly), the fact that it came in a smaller size, and also my CDE saying in her experience the tech support was better.
And I'm 32 and I think "Oooh shiny BLUE!" pretty much every day. Of course I also have a new cane with pink roses on it and keep a toy elephant attached to my regular silver cane. . .
Medtronic makes "skins" to add colour and designs. Does the Ping do that?
No, the Ping doesn't have skins. But comparing the Paradigm and Ping yesterday, it looks like the Ping is only slightly bigger (.88 compared to .80), and it could be feasible to make the skin work. With an exacto knife if needed (to the skin, not the pump.)
I've always been happy with One Touch and Lifescan/J&J, so I'm not too worried about customer service.
If the Ping weren't going to be around very soon, I likely would have gone for the Paradigm. That was the one I thought I wanted before I discovered the Ping.

So, no, it likely wouldn't always be visible.
