Bored on Amtrak

I am ambivalent about this whole train travelling across the States method. To begin with, my initial trip was horrible and very confusing/depressing, but with careful study of Amtrak and their shitty ways, along with my own preparations, I've found that spending 48 hours on a train to go from Dallas to Providence isn't actually that bad

I wish I had known you were going to be in D.C. You might have already had plans anyway, but I live about twenty minutes away from D.C. I could have bought you lunch or something. And not a $45 crappy sandwich, et cetera.

Anyway. If you need a place to crash sometime when you're on the East Coast, if I haven't returned to California yet, you have a dirty mat on the floor with your name on it. I mean a cot. I mean a futon.
