am not necessarily a famous-people-fetishist, but would like to meet this man and touch his tattered garment. In fact, ah think ah will, this afternoon.

I'm thinking it's the guy in the phonepost on l-cosmo? That's my guess, anyway, I should've listened closer. Timothy "Speed" Levitch, beyond that I don't know, and were I less lazy I'd look him up!
I want to ask who he is but am afraid that you'll say he doesn't know ME so who cares? AH! Was talking to someone about the five-best-comic-book-artists-currently-working-who-aren't-the-hernandez-brothers-challenge (or was it ten?) last night, in a porch swing. I say, I know this guy who likes to rate experiences on a 1 to 10 scale, and it makes my friend laugh, each time.
1. Nick Bertozzi 2. Paul Pope 3. Ron Rege, Jr. 4. Jose Munoz 5. Maurizio Ribichini 6. Jim Woodring 7. John Porcellino 8. Dylan Horrocks and...AARGH, I don't know...
In the most recent L&R the Bros, including your namesake, write lists of their most favored comic book artists. One of Gilbert's top 16 ever is Jose Munoz--didja ever look at that comic I brought you?
bertozzi has shot to #1? Anyhow, it was top 5, so no AARGHing necessary. Ah knowed we went through this b4, too, in other comments section. I'd find it if I weren't @ work, but I am, so fuck this world. David Choe Tony Millionaire Dylan Horrocks Eddie Campbell Posy Simmonds.
Yes, I looked @ it, it am pretty, but th Italian is slightly beyond my level.--mza.
we did go through it before but I find it endlessly fascinatingmaria_sputnikJune 22 2004, 06:20:45 UTC
no! the order is not meaningful. a meaningful order would be like 1. Jose Munoz 2. Nick Bertozzi 3. Paul Pope 4. Maurizio Ribichini 5. Dylan Horrocks, whose name I can't even spell
but the thing is that it changes constantly. that's why I find the rating of movies on spreadsheets from levels of one to ten funny -- I can't keep a steady number on no one, no how
on the porch swing I was remembering the place where we had the original conversation. my vegetarian food was stranissimo! I would write a review of that place for eden-center but my memories of it seem drugged
