jest got out of a meeting w/ my immediate supervisor, in which he interrogated me regarding my lack of productivity of late. Ended up yelling @ him, defensively.

that's what i've always felt like saying because asking for "more productivity" is clearly the root of the problem. if your employees aren't productive, it's almost always because they don't like their job. if they just assumed this and instead said things about what they wanted instead of "let's guess what i want" then things would actually get done. until they find someone who loves doing what you do.

Hang in there, hon, and just ask calmly what they feel you can do to make nicey nice. If you seem helpful and attentive, people will usually appreciate it and take it easy on you.

What's going on tonight? I was going to drink and play videogames/watch movies. I hope you have an equally low-key night!
