So let's lay down a couple of ground rules: 1) only write about self if doing so also conveys some kind of useful information about th non-self-centered world; 2) do not use this to tell somebody something that is too uncomfortable to say directly; 3) do not spy on other people w/o offering something of one's own on which others may spy (= keeping one's karma in balance, basically); 4) if I start checking livejournal more often than I check my e-mail, I have to whip myself w/ a leather whip.

Number One is antithetical to the whole Lj vibe, I think! I haven't gotten too far in MH yet, but perhaps you denounced these later on. Or maybe they're framed above your desk in a frame crafted from the discarded and subsequently glued locks of your hair.
