I suppose if I found someone good at drawing who was willing to collaborate on it, that would be cool. I could do an Sunstone Codex or something! At least then I would finally put that creation to some use.
I have a guilty confession by the way. I downloaded a torrent version of the Codex Seraphinianus. Of course it's nowhere near as wonderful as having a physical copy of the book, but you know. MONEY. IT'S A GAS.
If they published new copies that weren't so expensive I would probably buy one.

Your drawing style is unique and original and I think that's all you need. Good use of colors and/or interesting patterns and things no one's seen before will always find at least some kind of audience.
I would encourage you in making a Sunstone Codex! The challenge would be to not be too attached to the project to see it through to its completion. Hm!
