Hopefully, this surgeon will be of help. YAY FOR THE ANTIQUE ROADSHOW!! When my inlaw's were in Chattanooga, we rented a wheelchair for me that my FIL pushed around. I do believe if you start now, you can find an electric scooter to rent. ***GLEE***

That's great! Do you have some posts you can point me to so I can get a bit of background on your disability? So far, I have been told I am not a candidate for surgery. I was going to get some shots in the facet joints, but they wanted a 250 buck "copay." I choked and cancelled the appointment.

My Main Disability Is Agoraphobia, Bipolar, And Major Depressive Disorder,And I Am On Disability And Medicaid, But, It Is All Tied In With My PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) And Is A Very Long Story. Suffice It To Say That 3 Years Ago I Had A 45 Lb Tumor The Size Of A Huge Beach ball On My Right Ovary. It And The Ovary Were Removed In A Massive 8(?) Hour Operation. Last Year They Discovered That The Tumor Had Reappeared, And Had Grown To The Size Of A Bowling Ball, And Was In The Same Place As The Previous Years Tumor, Even Though The Ovary Was No Longer There. The Tumor Was Removed Along With My Uterus. I've Kept My Right Ovary. These Tumors Sat On My Spine, Doing Severe Damage, And I Have Developed Severe Spinal Stenosis, Which Is Just A Fancy Way Of Saying Arthritis.

Wow! It's amazing how people, even doctors, can decide we can only have one thing wrong at a time ( ... )

Oh Absolutely Not. :) I Can Take My Time Reading, It's In Answering In A Timely Matter That Goes Kerfluie(sp?), And I Suppose That's Just My Brain Telling Me I Have To RUSHRUSHRUSH, Instead Of Taking My Time! It Still Gets Mangled, But If I Take My Time Sometimes I Can Fix It All In Word. I Wrote College Papers This Way Though, And Who Wants To Go And Edit Every Little Line In A Word Processor? EVERYthing Would Take About 3 Or 4 Times As Long! LOL ( ... )
