hi, this is my test journal, where i do my layouts before i put them up on my regular journal (proverbial). I've been working on a new layout for a little while & there is only one more kink I can't figure out.

I want to get rid of the section in the sloppily drawn red box:

If any of you could tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate it, I'm getting a little frustrated.
