It used to be you knew where people stood. If someone had a lot of money, conservatives would assume he earned it by being smart, working hard, and convincing people to reward him. Liberals would assume he acquired it by cheating at worst or random chance at best

Come on, now. We all know he probably used tricky "gotcha" questions, just like hard-core interviewer Katie Couric, to get money from people. That, or he took down 3 of Vegas' biggest casinos, Ocean's Eleven Style, which was hushed up as to save face.
