Red White and Brainwashed

As I sit in my swivle chair with Tak in my lap, my body soar from 11 hours of work at the Dirty Bird. I wonder what keeps me going back their every fucking day. It doesn't pay well. It isn't intellectually or spiritually satisfying. I get no benifits. It is stressful beyond beleife. Today I figured it out. Its a comfort zone. People dislike change ( Read more... )

Good luck. I hear its hard to get a job at Costco unless you are related to someone who already works there.

I have the exact same problem. Why am I still working here after almost 2 years? I could be doing better (or worse, but better is always a hope). Same reason... I've fallen into a comfort zone, and it has made me too lazy to attempt to find a different job. It's really dull here and I want something different, but "it's a job and I have hours here."
