So here I am, awake, at 6:13 in the morning. This month would be one of those "really, really not" times.

So, yup, I'm home in VT for a month. I got home Thursday. I'll probably go back down to the city for a little bit around New Year's, because it's two days into vacation and I'm already bored. :D

Hope everyone else is doing well...sorry for the suckage of lj-paying-attention-age.

I am currently typing this entry on my computer. Yes, mine, that I just got back today. :)

I had my complimentary 5-course dinner at the FCI last night with a friend. It was soooooo good. I'd talk more about it but I have to leave for work in 5 minutes.

I called FCI this morning to ask how I could get more info about it, and I was transferred to the director of something or other. I mentioned I'm interested in pastry, and he transferred me to the director of the pastry program. That director gave me a little info about the school, and then we set a date for me to go tour the program in person... ( Read more... )

Just came back from seeing Rent with a ton of high school friends-- a very fun experience. It was cool because only a couple of us had seen Rent on Broadway before, and the rest were seeing it because we had gushed about how good it was, and we all came out pretty happy. I don't even get to register for classes yet, and already some of the lectures/recitations I had planned on attending are full. This is going to be fun.

Oh the plus side, I got my hair cut (WAYYYYYYYY overdue) and I get to see Harry Potter tonight! The boy, not the movie. :D :D
