I like this (as always). I like the implcit mockery of using 'efficiency' to guage goodness or value. It fits in nicely with my general antipathy to classical/neo-classical economics, which you may or may not have gleaned from our conversation yesterday.

Aside from that it is also rather clever.

The take-home is going alright. I am more concerned that my body clock appears to have stopped off twenty-four hour time (this happened last semester during exams too). I hope your exam question is coming along!
