White people will frequently show up to various events 15- 35 minutes early for no reason at all. A favorite quote used to explain this phenomenon is “Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable”.

This is COMPLETELY TRUE for my school band concerts. The band conductor is always like, "I want you all there by 6:30. So tell your parents to get you there by 6:15."

Ha!

My Aunt is ALWAYS late...so we tell her that things start and hour and a half before they do and then she arrives on time. A bit sneaky. But it works.

What instrument(s) do you play?

My parents know that if we want to be somewhere at a certain time, we have to get ready to leave at least half an hour early, because we always take forever.

I play the trombone, and last year, I sang in the chorus, too. Now my teacher is also showing me how to play the alto trombone. Lots of fun.
