This was AWESOME. You got into their heads so well, and I really really loved that little moment of Castiel pouring some water for Dean so it would be ready for him when he woke. That's a wonderful touch. Also nice handling of Ruby's not-so-subtle efforts at stringing Sam along, and Anna. Who I still don't like, but loved the way you dealt with her here.

We think alike about Anna! XD I LOVED 4.16, you know that, but I just had to add something for myself to reconcile how he asked her for help, that little hand-touch of hers, etc. etc. *___*

But! Enough about that, let's get to Dean and Castiel! :D It seems the water-pouring thing had exactly the sort of effect I wanted, so, YAY! ♥♥♥ So glad you liked it ^_________^

Thank you so much for reading and commenting! Also, thank you bunches <33333 for writing up your con experience ~ the t-shirts and Hawaii and all of them bantering back-and-forth, TOO MUCH AWESOMENESS!!! :D :D :D

Nice look at what's going on inside their minds. I'm not as big a fan of Castiel as most I know, but I this really makes me like him more--probably the best inner monologue I've read for him.

If you like Castiel more because of anything I did, I'm as pleased as Dean with pie! :D :D :D Also, characterization is my number-one concern - even more so here since it's my first "serious" spn fic. Thank you very much for your lovely comment!

For me there's no such thing as late feedback, esp when it's as thoughtful and thorough as this! <33333

Yes Dean and Sam have changed so much! T__T I was just seeing some clips back from Season 1, and sometimes Dean says exactly the sort of thing Sam would say now, and vice versa!

Pie seems to be a sensitive button in this fandom :) Of course it's a staple for lighter fics... but to my mind that makes it all the stronger as an angst button!

Castiel not understanding Anna...haha, I'm not sure I understand Anna. But I tried hard to at least be fair, based on her dialogue etc. in the show so far, and if the writers do make her a "good" character, i.e. one Castiel (and the boys)... "should" listen to (???) then at least I think this fic doesn't contradict that.

More importantly, let's get to the guys! (and their angst!) ^___^ I'm so, so glad that despite being unconscious throughout this fic, Dean still comes across as a key character, needed, very much a factor in Sam and Castiel's thoughts and actions. That was exactly what I was ( ... )

Yes, you didn't contradict any of the established characterizations at all. Using pie as an angst button is brilliant! With the water-pouring moment, it just said so much about Cas, how he has to work at being thoughtful from a human perspective (and he wants to) and how proud he is at the thought that he might be able to help Dean. Aw! Awesome.
